Auction Rules

Your guide to a fair and secure bidding experience.

All auctions are conducted in Canadian funds (CAD).

Auction items are only eligible to be won & shipped within North America.

AUCTION REGISTRATION

All customers must register before placing a bid. If you previously registered for Frameworth Auctions, you would have been sent an email including your login and password information and are ready to bid. New registrations only take a few moments.

Please log on to auction.frameworth.com and click on the "Register to Bid" tab. Please enter all of the required registration information and click "Submit" at the bottom of the page. You will only need to register once. You must be logged-in to place bids. Keep your login and password in a safe place for future reference. Upon registering, you will receive an email confirming your registration and will be able to place bids immediately.

BIDDING & AUCTION CLOSING

MINIMUM BID INCREASE: Any lot from $1-$499 will have a fifteen percent (15%) minimum increase, in whole dollar amounts. Any lot upwards of $500 will have a 10 percent (10%) minimum increase, in whole dollar amounts. There will be no exceptions.

BUYER'S PREMIUM: Unlike many other auction platforms, Frameworth does not charge a buyer’s premium! What you see is what you get.

LOTS WITH RESERVE: The majority of lots will not have a reserve. If a reserve is listed, it is a fair and realistic price. Frameworth has the right to remove the reserve at any time if bidding gets close. If a bid is placed below the reserve and the reserve is lifted, the high bidder will be awarded the item.

AUCTION CLOSING (10-MINUTE RULE): Starting at 10:00 PM EST on the last day, if a bid is placed on any auction item, the entire auction will stay open for another 10 minutes. This process repeats until no bids are placed on any item within a 10-minute span, at which point the entire auction closes. To bid on a lot after 10:00 PM EST, you must have placed a bid on that specific lot prior to 10:00 PM EST. If you are the only bidder on a lot at 10:00 PM, you will be declared the winner and that lot closes; only lots with multiple bids enter extended bidding. No retractions of bids are permitted.

PAYMENT

PLEASE NOTE - All Auctions Are Conducted in Canadian Funds (CAD).

INVOICES/NOTIFICATION: Invoices will be emailed to all winning bidders in the days following the auction. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt. Users who are outbid will receive e-mail notification.

PAYMENT METHODS: Credit cards are the preferred method for any item below $10,000. Paypal is also available. For any lot won above $10,000, Frameworth will require a signed credit card authorization form. Frameworth Gift Cards or Coupon Codes WILL NOT be accepted.

SHIPPING & PICKUP

Once payment is received, items will typically be shipped within 10-14 business days. The buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The estimated cost for standard items (pucks, photos) is $15-20, but may vary. Shipping for frames & canvases will be calculated based on location. We will do our best to combine shipping on multiple lots won.

CUSTOMER PICKUP: Customer pickup is an option for local customers with advanced notice. Please contact auctions@frameworth.com to arrange pickup. Allow 4-6 business days to prepare a winning order. Our pickup location is 1198 Caledonia Rd, Toronto, ON. Customers from out of province/country must pay 13% HST on pickup orders.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: Customers outside of Canada are responsible for all duties, taxes, tariffs, and brokerage fees associated with international shipments. These costs are not included in your invoice and are payable to the governing Customs body. Declined deliveries may be returned at the customer's expense, and any refund will be less all associated fees.

PRODUCTS & AUTHENTICITY

AUTHENTICATION: Every autographed product includes a legitimate hologram and certificate of authenticity to ensure the authenticity of the autograph. All items listed contain a Frameworth hologram and Certificate of Authenticity unless stated otherwise.

FRAMED PRODUCTS: We make every effort to protect frames. If a framed product arrives damaged, please provide evidence within 48 hours. Our customer service team will assist with compensation/reconciliation.

FRAMING AND DISPLAY CASES: Unless stated in the lot title or description, cases and framing are NOT INCLUDED. You can add them for an additional cost by contacting our sales department at 416-781-1115 or auctions@frameworth.com.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

NO RETURN POLICY: All lots are sold as is. All sales are final. Returns will only be accepted if an item is damaged or does not accurately match the auction listing description.

CANCELLING BIDS / FAILURE TO PAY: All bids placed enter the user in a binding contract. Bids may not be cancelled. Failure to provide payment for a winning bid in full within five days of the auction’s close may result in a permanent ban. Frameworth also reserves the right to charge a non-refundable 15% restocking fee to the customer’s credit card if a winning bid is cancelled or payment fails. Continued abuse of the bidding process may result in legal action.
