There was a time when no one believed Gordie Howe’s point record of 1850 would never be matched, but when Wayne Gretzky managed to secure his 1851st point on October 15th, 1989 the hockey world knew they were in for a record on a whole new level.
Taken in the locker room after Gretzky’s record breaking point, this 16x20 photo shows the two hockey legends celebrating one another’s success. The photo has been hand signed by both Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe, and has been professionally set in Frameworth’s renowned framing with a descriptive etched mat, and a decorative v-groove.
