This black and green CCM Ribcor Reckoner left handed stick was personally used by Sidney Crosby. It was used at home in PPG Paints Arena against the Detroit Red Wings on February 19, 2017. This stick comes with a yellow label of “Feb 19 2017”, and a Pittsburgh Penguins label with “2/19/2017 vs. DETROIT”. Labelled on the shaft are CROSBY 87 and the flex of 100. The stick blade is wrapped in black tape, while the shaft of the stick is wrapped in white tape with the number 87 written in black marker.
In the game, Crosby would go on to score his 32nd goal of the season which he ended up finishing with 44 goals which was the highest goal total in the NHL, winning Sidney the Rocket Richard Trophy. Crosby helped lead the Penguins to back to back Stanley Cups victories in 2017 and was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy for his playoff campaign.

Extended Bidding / ‘10 Minute Rule’: All Frameworth Auction items are subject to the possibility of extended bidding to avoid "Auction Sniping". We implement the '10 minute rule' in every auction. This means that starting at 8:00pmEST when the auction is set to close, the auction will only close as long as no bids are placed on the item within a 10 minute span. If however a bid is placed within that time span, the item will stay open for bidding for another 10 minutes. This process will stay in effect until no bids are placed within a 10 minute time period. To be eligible to bid on an item after 8:00pmEST (the designated closing time for the auction) you must have placed a bid on that item prior to 8:00pmEST. Thus, if you are the only bidder on an item at 8:00pmEST on the auction closing date, you will be declared the winner and there is no extended bidding process. Retractions of bids are not permitted under any circumstance.
