This black and green CCM Ribcor Reckoner stick was personally used by Sidney Crosby during game 5 of the first round of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Penguins were at home in PPG Paints Arena with a 3-1 series lead and looked to move to the second round with a win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Penguins got out to an early lead and never looked back. In a 3-2 game Crosby added some insurance when he scored on the power play just over 5 minutes into the third period. The goal was his 2nd goal of the playoffs. The Penguins held their lead to advance to the second round with a 5-2 victory. In 60 playoff appearances, Crosby has a total of 185 points including 66 goals and 119 assists. He currently sits 1st in Penguins franchise history and 11th place on the NHL’s all-time list for having the most career playoff points. This stick comes with a hand written label of “Game 5 1st Round”. The shaft of the stick has CROSBY 87 and the flex of 100. This stick is wrapped in black tape on the stick blade and wrapped in white tape on the shaft with 87 written in black marker. Extended Bidding / ‘10 Minute Rule’: All Frameworth Auction items are subject to the possibility of extended bidding to avoid "Auction Sniping". We implement the '10 minute rule' in every auction. This means that starting at 8:00pmEST when the auction is set to close, the auction will only close as long as no bids are placed on the item within a 10 minute span. If however a bid is placed within that time span, the item will stay open for bidding for another 10 minutes. This process will stay in effect until no bids are placed within a 10 minute time period. To be eligible to bid on an item after 8:00pmEST (the designated closing time for the auction) you must have placed a bid on that item prior to 8:00pmEST. Thus, if you are the only bidder on an item at 8:00pmEST on the auction closing date, you will be declared the winner and there is no extended bidding process. Retractions of bids are not permitted under any circumstance.
