Krushelnyski was a part of the infamous Wayne Gretzky trade to Los Angeles, as the Great One requested that his linemate join him in LA, Krushelnyski went on to have the best season of his NHL career scoring 110 points in that 1988-89 season. Krushelnyski would go on to play 4 seasons in Toronto with his best statistical season with the team coming in 1992-93.
