Ben Bishop was traded from the Lightning in order to give Vasilevskiy the starting gig in Tampa. Vasilevskiy rose to the occasion and has been stellar so far in his career. Vasilevskiy was the first goalie drafted during the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, being selected 19th overall. Vasilevskiy has an incredible .918Save% and finished 2018 with a .920Save% and eight shutouts, tied for the league lead with Pekka Rinne.
